Jive Tutorials

Getting Started

The Getting Started tutorial can help you start implementing Jive programs. It explains the essential classes from Jive and the underlying Jem library, and shows how to use these classes for building numerical programs. This tutorial is part of the course Developing numerical programs with Jem and Jive from Dynaflow Research Group. It consists of a stack of slides and a collection of exercises with solutions.

Modules and Models

The Modules and Models tutorial helps you getting started with the high-level building blocks provided by Jive. This tutorial is the sequel to the Getting Started tutorial; you must have completed the latter before starting the Modules and Models tutorial. This tutorial, too, is part of the course Developing numerical programs with Jem and Jive from Dynaflow Research Group. It consists of a stack of slides and a collection of exercises with solutions. It also contains a complete non-linear example program that could serve as a basis for your own Jive program.
